Grass-Fed Beef Roast
(Printer/Screenshot Friendly Copy)
Ingredients:
3-5 lb Six S Dairy Beef Roast, frozen (Our favorite is Chuck Roast)
1 cup of water
Salt
Veggies (optional, but will make it a complete meal)
Great veggie choices are Potatoes, Carrots, Onions, Mushrooms
Steps:
Place frozen roast in Crock Pot
Add 1 cup of water
Salt the roast generously
Cook on low for 10-14 hours (I usually do about 12 hours)
After the roast has been cooking for about 4 hours, toss in the veggies and continue to cook on low for the remainder of the time
About 15 minutes before serving, remove the meat to a plate or serving platter and cover with tin foil, allowing it to rest
If you'd like you can make gravy out of the pan drippings
The potatoes can be served as is or mashed
Enjoy!
