Whenever I make this meatloaf, the kids act like it’s a super special treat! They just love it, and I love that it’s so easy to pull together!
When I first started making it I would always make it in my cast iron skillet, but lately, I’ve been putting it in a stoneware bread pan for baking. Both work equally well, and you can use whatever method you prefer.
Hope you love this recipe as much as we do! I often pair it with this Mac & Cheese and some green beans.

Ingredients:
1 lb Six S Dairy Bacon
3 Slices Whole Grain Bread (We love Little Rooster Sprouted Multi-Grain Bread or homemade sourdough)
1/4 c Ketchup
3/4 c Six S Dairy Raw Milk
Salt & Pepper
1t. Onion Powder
Steps:
Preheat oven to 350*
Crumble bread slices (I use a small food chopper)
In a large bowl place all ingredients except bacon
Mix well, I find it easiest to mix with clean hands
Shape mixture into a loaf and place in cast iron grill pan
Cover with strips of bacon
Cook for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until internal temp is 160*
Turn the oven on broil towards the end of cooking to crisp bacon
Enjoy!
